Wendy Schneider is the Executive Director of Green Hectares has been with the Green Hectares project since its inception in 2006. She has worked in many high level board capacities as the former chair of the Canadian Angus Association and a director on the Northlands Board (also holding the vice chair of agriculture standing committee). In addition she has been a key manager and operator in her family’s purebred cattle operation Northline Angus (Northline Angus, 2010), outside of Ardrossan, Alberta.
Carlene Van Brabant has been responsible since 2010 to develop, implement and report on the various program activities that Green Hectares has developed. Prior to this role she worked in different roles across western Canada working in sales as well as adult education in rural and agricultural communities. She initially worked with Green Hectares in 2008 while working on the organization's business case. Carlene lives on a fruit and flower farm outside of Ardrossan, Alberta.
