Knowledge Networks in Rural Canada
Sharing knowledge and maximizing resources is important for local champions to build strong rural economies. It is imperative to help us take hold of opportunities and manage challenges; many of those solutions rest with the people in our communities. Yet, we can also learn from those facing similar challenges in other rural places in Canada. Whether looking at advancing innovation, building partnerships or finding solutions to community problems, sharing information through networks can often help us use our resources most effectively in our pursuit to improve rural quality of life. Join us for the last Thought Exchange in this series to learn how to leverage networks to tap into the wisdom inside and outside your rural community to strengthen your rural economy. As part of this Thought Exchange, we will provide an overview of some of the outcomes of the 2023-2024 Thought Exchange series on Opportunities and Challenges in Rural Economies.

Experience a Thought Exchange
We have designed our Thought Exchanges to be a unique peer to peer learning experience where new ideas from all participants are welcomed. We generally have a thought leader help lead the discussion and guide the discussion, but over the course of several years, we've had a wealth of knowledge from many of our participants. In some cases, these participants end up coming back as hosts themselves. The conversations, resources, questions and ideas continue to live on, informing strategy and programming across Canada. If you're interested in the Thought Exchange experience check out some of the recordings from a past Thought Exchange.
We are in the process of developing our 2024-2025 Thought Exchange Series. If you're interested in keeping updated as we launch, please sign up for reminders of our next series to learn alongside us.
