Bridging the urban-rural divide in technology
The vision of working to support vibrant rural communities where people can thrive is the motivation behind the RuralTech program. This initiative was designed and developed to enhance Green Hectares’ mandate of being a leader in bringing sustainability to the agriculture community and fostering dynamic rural communities. The RuralTech program creates opportunities for people to connect, collaborate and learn.
Technology can play an important role in the quality of life in rural communities. While in some areas technology is lacking, once rural citizens understand how to use the technology they quickly take it up and use it in ways not seen in an urban setting. The application of technology, whatever that technology is, generally is done readily and enthusiastically. RuralTech is a program to enable communities and individuals the ability to choose how they use these technologies to improve their lives.
Green Hectares provides both technical courses and mobile computer labs so that those in rural can improve their skills in a practical way for practical applications. These improvements will help their communities and the rural economy.

Wheeled, waterproof case
Prices to rent the mobile computer labs are as follows
1 day rental - $185
1 week rental - $529
20 day rental - $1865
The organization renting is responsible for all shipping costs, however we will assist with arranging shipping if needed. We allow several days for shipping on either side of the reservation window to allow for service to rural areas.
